This course is beneficial for staff who work in the health and social care sector to highlight the importance of safeguarding adults at risk amongst staff in a range of care settings.

Participants will gain an awareness of current practices and laws to ensure that they implement industry standard adult protection policies and procedures. Participants will gain an awareness also of the ten types of abuse since the Care Act 2014 as well as the signs, symptoms and indicators and be able to respond to abuse allegations appropriately.
