Plato Training offers impartial information, advice and guidance to employers and learners. We will work in partnership with you to identify your training needs, source funding and agree proposals that reflect the needs of your service and employees.

The team at Plato Training are dedicated to providing a first-rate and confidential facility to all clients, learners and employers offering impartial information, advice and guidance. We work in close partnership with other providers and funding bodies that provide alternative options and choices and progression routes.

Opening Hours: Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Alternatively leave a message on the 24hr messaging service and someone will return your call as soon as they are able to do so.

 

Learners-What you can expect from us….

Plato Training work with learners on an individual basis offering you information, advice and guidance throughout your learning programme. Before starting your qualification your IAG Officer or your Assessor will discuss with you the appropriate type and level of qualification that reflects your job role. Whilst on programme your IAG Officer or Assessor will offer you advice and support to help you progress, meet the targets set in your ILP (Individual Learning Plan) and achieve your qualification. They will advise you on opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge and guide you in using learning resources we provide.

Towards the end of your qualification they will review your progress and achievement. You will have an opportunity to do a self evaluation of your learning and the IAG Officer/Assessor will discuss the next steps to help you move on with your personal development. This may include undertaking a higher level qualification, further training or research. If you need to access specialist advice they can give you information on how to access this.

The service is split in to 3 defined categories:

Getting in: Explanation of services available to clients-introduction and purpose of IAG

Getting on: Interim reviews on progress and continued support

Moving on: Provision of options on next steps and personal development

We encourage and welcome suggestions, compliments and feedback on our services which we receive by:

  • Feedback forms/learner voice focus groups
  • One to one client and employer interaction

We also have a formal complaints policy which will be followed in the event of any complaint raised. If you would like more information on this, then please speak to a member of staff, who will guide you through the process.
