Apprenticeships Case Study
Chelsey is a bright young lady who, upon leaving college with excellent grades, decided that University was not for her. She chose the apprenticeship route as a way to gain real life experience, a wage but more importantly, a way of developing and gaining qualifications.

Chelsey joined the Stockport office in September 2013. She already had good communication and ICT skills and wanted to develop her administration skills. She took to the job immediately and was happy to take on new things to help her learn. It was not always easy but she valued the support from her manager, her team and her assessor over the last year. She is now working as a full time as a valued member of staff, recruiting new young people to become apprentices in their chosen field.

“I am very happy to have had the opportunity to work through my apprenticeship”, says Chelsey “and I am really pleased to be in a job role where I am now supporting other young people into their apprenticeships”

  • I began my apprenticeship in September and it’s helped me immensely. I can’t thank Plato Training enough!
